Interesting Website & Book
Years ago in my early days of reading all that I could in the field of whole foods diet, I was introduced to an Author by the name of J. Michael Zenn. His book, and ultimately his website, has to this day, been one of my constant go to sources for information regarding healthy eating and healthy living. The book is titled “The Self Health Revolution”. As quoted by John Mackey, Co-founder and Co-CEO of Whole Foods Market, “J. Michael Zenn has written a wonderful book on health that accurately describes the growing health problems in America.” Enjoy his website: www.selfhealthrevolution.com
Basics of Health
Water & Salt the Essence of Life. The subtitle to this book states, “The Healing Power of Nature” and there is enormous truth in that. As our bodies actually consist of well over 90% water, one could imagine that it is essential to live in a ‘Hydrated’ state. John F. Kennedy is quoted in the books preface “all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea. We are going back from whence we came.” This book will engage you and enthrall you about the incredible science and nature of Water and your good Health.
Monthly feature: GARLIC..!!!!
While there are thousands of individual and specific food items which I will prompt you to learn more about each month, this month, GARLIC takes the lead. I have invested hundreds of hours reading about and researching the benefits of Garlic in our whole foods diet. Here is just one (of many) of the excellent and comprehensive websites outlining the incredible healing benefits of garlic. For more information visit: http://www.emaxhealth.com/
